My first love was dancing - I found a sense of stillness and clarity when I was engaged in creative movement. It wasn’t until I took my first yoga class in 2001 at the Ashtanga Yoga Studio that I fully understood how movement could be meditation. The combination of breath awareness and physical postures linked by vinyasa invigorated me and gave me an overall sense of well being. I left that class knowing I’d found a life long practice.

Since that time, I have continued to study, explore and “dance” with yoga on and off the mat. My curiosity and love for yoga have taken me both near and far to study with many wonderful, inspiring teachers. I have completed 200 hours of Ashtanga Yoga teacher training in the primary and intermediate series with senior Ashtanga Yoga teacher Tim Miller and a 200 hour RYT certification in Samatva Yoga with Karen Prior.

Because I believe so deeply in the transformative powers of yoga, it is my greatest pleasure to share it with others. I am honored to be part of the amazing community at the Ashtanga Yoga Studio, and I am grateful to my first and much loved yoga teacher Andrew Eppler for his knowledge, compassion and support.
