Join us for a rejuvenating weekend of yoga, healing, and connection at Magic Forest, our private sanctuary just outside Norman, Oklahoma. This 16-hour Yoga and Healing Arts Immersion invites you to move, breathe, and explore in a peaceful natural setting surrounded by forest trails, a spring-fed creek, and a sandy beach perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and even mud baths.

Designed for all levels, this immersive experience blends Ashtanga Yoga, Thai massage, and hands-on healing practices with time for rest, reflection, and play. You’ll gain practical tools for postural alignment, therapeutic touch, and intelligent, pain-free movement—all guided by experienced and caring teachers.

Whether you’re deepening your personal practice, learning new skills, or simply seeking to reconnect with nature and yourself, this weekend offers a joyful space to grow, relax, and be inspired. The immersion can also count toward our 200-hour yoga training program, but stands beautifully on its own.

The Weekend Includes the Following

  • Yoga Philosophy & Healing Principles: Morning talks exploring the foundations of self-healing and spiritual practice

  • Ashtanga Yoga Practice: Morning sessions in a serene forest environment

  • Thai Bodywork: Learn all four classical positions with an emphasis on respectful, therapeutic touch

  • Postural Analysis & Functional Anatomy: Understand structural imbalances and how muscles function in movement and stability

  • Basics of Ayurveda workshop: explore the benefits of Ayurvedic knowledge, core principles of health and balance, basics of Ayurvedic diet.

  • Hands-On Adjustments: Explore techniques like isometric stretching, reciprocal inhibition, and somatic movement

  • Safe Modifications: Learn to adapt postures for various body types and limitations

  • Self-Massage & Body Awareness: Develop tools to release tension and support long-term yoga practice

  • Natural Immersion: Swim in a spring-fed creek, relax on sandy beaches, and enjoy rejuvenating mud baths

  • Mentorship & Feedback: Receive personal guidance and insight into your body mechanics

  • Community Connection: Practice and learn in a supportive, nature-based setting

  • Optional Credit Toward 200hr Training: Apply your tuition toward the full training if you enroll within 3 months

Andrew Eppler

Andrew Eppler is a lifelong student and teacher of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, known for his work preserving the yogic traditions of Mysore, India, and directing the Mysore Yoga Traditions film. As founder of the Mysore Yoga Conference and Online Studies Program, he collaborates with Sanskrit scholars to share classical philosophy with a global audience. Blending traditional wisdom with modern insight, Andrew offers a grounded yet evolving approach to yoga that honors lineage while welcoming all backgrounds.
